Sheridan Zalewski

Sheridan Zalewski is a research associate at CID. In this position, Zalewski is responsible for transforming and analyzing data for the Siting and Ballot Return Tools, as well as developing new computational frameworks for CID analyses. Prior to joining CID, he worked as a data scientist for various startups, as well as Nike. Zalewski graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Ph.D. in astrophysics in 2013, and used that experience to learn more about the data science field. He went on to complete the Insight Data Science program two years later. Before his graduate work, Zalewski earned a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara. In his spare time, the video game enthusiast enjoys organizing and running Super Smash Bros tournaments.
